Major problem with GV900

Postby marlon » Wed Dec 03, 2008 8:17 pm

Hi,
I have a GV900-8 card and I tried installing it on a system that was built.
Running Windows XP SP3, Pentium 4 with an Intel Motherboard (#:d845gebv2 with Intel chipset)

When I put the GV900 card in and installed the drivers from the CD, 2 of the audio devices AND 2 of the video capture devices show up with a yellow exclamation mark in device manager.

I tried reinstalling the software+drivers about 50 times(even cleared the gv*.* system files etc) and I also tried changing the PCI slot that the card is in.
I even tried reinstalling windows.

Please assist, I've been trying to get this card working for the past 2 months now.

Thanks in advance

BTW, if it helps I'm using ATI RADEON 7000 series graphics card.

Also, it's worth mentioning that initially those devices are detected as
GV250 Audio and GV250 Video Controller by windows XP and attempts to install those drivers. If I manually change the driver to GV900_8 it says the device cannot start (Code 10).

Un-installation steps for both software and hardware (driver) for
GV Series Capture Cards

Software
1. Go to “Start / MultiCam / Uninstall Multicam GV250, GV-600, 650, 750 or 800â€
