A time for giving and sharing but what about the excess drinking, vandalism, trespassing and general crime increases? For a lot of businesses, Christmas is a serious security concern which must be addressed and at no time is the CCTV System more important.

Remote Video Monitoring

Rather than simply having a motion sensor trigger an intruder alarm, the Remote Video Monitoring Station receives a visual verification of the cause of any alarm trigger meaning the operator watching the system can take the most appropriate cause of action and see, for example, whether a large spider has just ran past the sensor or whether a masked gunman has entered the building!
As well as having the benefit of actually seeing what caused the alarm, the monitoring station can utilize advanced features such as Audio Talkback, PTZ Control and Input/Output Control.
Audio Talkback / Audio Challenge
This means the operator who has responded to the CCTV System alarm can issue an ‘Audio Challenge’ which is often very effective in getting rid of trespassers. The moment a person realizes they are being watched or that the police have been called, the problem is often resolved.
PTZ Control
If there is quite a large area or site to monitor, a PTZ camera may often be installed.
This enables the operator to remotely control it and follow suspects/individuals, zoom into faces or vehicle license plates and often guarantee a better success rate in catching or deterring criminal activity.
Input/Output Control
If the CCTV System is connected to a light or separate alarm, these can be triggered remotely by the Remote Monitoring station.
