IP Over Coax Solutions

January 31st, 2011 Joss No comments

It’s quite obvious that IP Cameras are here to stay.
The Security Industry has started to embrace the benefits of IP Cameras mainly due to the increased Megapixel resolutions.  But although the IT Industry and IT Specific markets have embraced Network Cameras, the Traditional CCTV market has been somewhat slower to take up this new technology.

One major reason for this is legacy coaxial cabling with the need to either run new CAT5/6 cabling or try and utilize existing cabling infrastructures.

ezCCTV now offer an alternative approach with IP Over Coax Converters.

These products are designed perfectly for any existing security installation that has coax cable already in place.

If the customer is looking to upgrade their CCTV System and take advantage of Megapixel IP Camera technology, they can use these Ethernet over Coax solutions to transmit IP Camera video/audio and power over an existing RG59 (or other) coaxial cable.
